We took part in lots of Welsh activities today. We looked at Welsh colours in learn and wrote our weekend news in Welsh. We listened to lots of different Welsh music in our circle times and also had a Welsh themed bucket session focussing on Welsh weather. Da iawn Pawb!

Mon 16 Oct 2023We had great fun baking our own welsh cakes for Shwmae Day! Everyone got stuck in with mixing, rolling, cutting, baking and most importantly eating! π₯£ π We taste tested our Welsh cakes and some tasty Bara Brith! It was yummy π

Mon 16 Oct 2023Today we celebrated Shwmae Day! There was lots going on to mark this special day. We had a great discussion during our assembly around what makes us proud to be Welsh, explored people who promote Wales and its culture and we tried bara brith, which was a hit with Sharks! #ethicalinformedcitizens

Fri 13 Oct 2023We have had great fun with our STEM activities today! We created an instructional video to show how to make a model of the digestive system! We loved it! Year 4 will be using these videos to help them in their STEM activity next week!

Dosbarth Turtles- Digital skills
Fri 13 Oct 2023We used our digital skills today in Dosbarth Turtles to research some famous places in Wales. We all chose our favourite! We also used Google maps to find Wales!

Pantside Primary are healthy and confident cross country runners! We even gained a first place and many in the top 20! You are all amazing!
