Happy Together Learning For Life
As part of STEM we planted sunflower seeds. First, we had to design and make a sleeve to cover our pots. Next, we used Keynote to make posters. We are hoping to be enterprising citizens and sell our sunflowers. Hopefully the sun will shine and our seeds will grow!
We have been having lots of fun in year 2's cooking club so far this term. This week we made a delicious tuna pasta! #healthyandconfident
We have been comparing Wales with The Dominican Republic. We have explored food, clothes and cultures. In STEM we cooked a Dominican Republic breakfast, lunch and dinner! It was delicious and fun to try different foods.
We have been learning about how we can help to look after our planet in Dosbarth Turtles. We created pledges, made posters, planted seeds and even learned about where in the world our food comes from. What a busy week! We are ethically, informed citizens of the world!
This week in Dolphins we have been looking at litter! We went on a litter pick around the school grounds, sorted the rubbish and recorded our findings using Purplemash.
Dosbarth Seahorses have been helping to keep the school tidy this week by taking part in a class litter pick around the school grounds. Da iawn Pawb!
As part of STEM we made our own quadrants using sticks and string. We had to measure and solve how to join the sticks so that it would not fall apart when we threw it! We had to look and see what was inside our quadrant, we then recorded this in a popplet.
We’re having great fun using marshmallows and spaghetti to create constellations 🌌.
