Happy Together Learning For Life
.
Here are some of the highlights from our STEM Friday today. We made slime, explored colour mixing, programmed the BeeBot to move using the app and we created Lego masterpieces! What a day! We are #confidentcreativecontributors
As part of our topic ‘All About Me’ we have been looking at families. In Attention Autism this week we focused on children and experienced how to wash and dress babies. All pupil were engaged and loved cuddling the baby dolls. Da iawn pawb!
More from this week’s STEM challenges. We had to work together to save Fred, use 1 cup of Lego to create our masterpiece, code the Microbit to tell our partner how we felt and identify our body parts. It was a very busy day but we loved it! #ambitiouscapablelearners
In our STEM Friday this week we investigated how far our cars travelled. We used our numeracy skills to measure. We also discussed what we could do to make our cars go faster. We had some great ideas! We also created Lego models, played maths games and made autumn leaves using pens and water. They look great. We are definitely confident, creative contributors. Da iawn Dosbarth Turtles!
As a part of our Jigsaw PHSE this week we explore ‘How do we feel today?’ and matched the faces to the emotions - we even linked it to our story this week ‘The Colour Monster’ 😊
