Happy Together Learning For Life
.
Dosbarth Seahorses have kicked off the week by focussing on our emotions. We enjoyed an Attention Autism session based on the zones of regulation and explored how different scenarios make us feel. Da iawn Pawb! #healthyconfidentindividuals
We love our Roots to empathy sessions. Any Esmee teaches us and we have already learnt so much. This week our theme was crying. Why do we cry? How does it make us feel? What is making baby Esmee cry? How can we help her?
We really are ethically informed citizens!
This week we have been finding out about the colour of our eyes. #ambitious capable learners.
A very busy week working hard on our fine motor skills! We have done finger printing, threading, rolling play-dough and using dabbers to create wonderful and colourful creations! π¨π
This week we went on a bug hunt. We saw lots of bugs and creepy crawlies and discussed where they live. It was lots of fun! Next week we will be making bug hotels. We are ethical, informed citizens in Dosbarth Turtles.
We are so pleased with our new sensory room! We love spending time playing with the lights, sensory mats and ball pit. Thank you Mrs Bennett!
This week we wanted to find out how long our feet are! Some of us quickly realised we couldn’t do this on our own so worked in pairs to draw around our feet before measuring them. Some of us measured in different ways such as using blocks, multi link or in centimetres. What unit of measure would you use? #healthyconfidentindividuals
After looking at body parts last week we wanted to know more about our bodies and found lots of interesting facts, we even made paper skeletons to see how joints work. Dosbarth Starfish are very inquisitive and confident!
