To celebrate St Dwynwen's Day some children from Sharks visited residents at Ty-Iscoed. The children were armed with board games and conversation; ready to play games and have a good natter! Lots of fun was had by all.
Dosbarth Seahorses have been exploring paramedics this week. In Attention Autism we learnt about ambulances and CPR!
As part of STEM we investigated the quickest way to melt ice and made hearts out of Lego.
We had a very special visitor into our classroom this week. We held our first baby visit for Roots of Empathy. We are looking forward to watch how our class baby will grow and develop over the next few months.
Year 3/4 had a fantastic day yesterday working with local author Claire Donald to write their own poetry. Their work is going to be published in a school book so watch this space to find out how you can get your copy! #ambitiouslearners
As a part of our Jigsaw this week we looked at ‘challenge’ Our task was to separate heads and sequins while being blindfolded! It was very challenging but we persevered 😎💎
A visitor came to class today, we had to follow instructions on an IPad to build a snowmobile! We then had to use the IPad to make it move. We had a wonderful time!
In STEM Friday this week we created our very own Dream Jars. We mixed coloured water, glitter and cotton wool to create a mystical jar full of dreams! ☁️🫙✨
This week we went on a habitat hunt to see what creatures we might be able to find. We love the outdoors too and are ethically informed citizens!
