Happy Together Learning For Life
Last week (when the weather was a little better!) we headed outside with our favourite books to celebrate World Book Day! A lovely calming break!
Fabulous effort made for World Book Day!
All the children had a blast pretending to be their favourite characters and sharing their favourite book 📚😁
Amazing effort today for World Book Day!
All children looked fabulous in their comfy pyjamas and costumes and all enjoyed sharing their favourite books! Ardderchog pawb! 📚😁
This week we have been learning the story of Gelert. We drew our favourite part of the story, described characters and even drew a story map! Next week we will be retelling the story!
We have been learning all about fractions in class this week. We have been sorting fractions, putting fractions together to make a whole and even cutting objects into different fractions. We are ambitious, capable learners!
As part of Welsh week we made love spoons, drew daffodils, make Welsh cakes and tried lots of different Welsh foods. We had a fabulous week!
Mmm delicious Welsh cakes! We measured the ingredients, mixed them all together, rolled the mixture out, used a cutter and baked them. Great teamwork!
Dosbarth Seahorses have had lots of fun this week exploring our Welsh heritage and learning lots of new Welsh words. We’ve explored our local landmarks, looked at the artist Rhiannon Roberts, baked Welsh cakes, participated in traditional Welsh folk dancing, practiced counting in Welsh and even wrote short sentences about ourselves in Welsh! What a fantastic week Dosbarth Seahorses! Da iawn! 👏🏻
