Happy Together Learning For Life
In our STEM Friday this week we investigated how far our cars travelled. We used our numeracy skills to measure. We also discussed what we could do to make our cars go faster. We had some great ideas! We also created Lego models, played maths games and made autumn leaves using pens and water. They look great. We are definitely confident, creative contributors. Da iawn Dosbarth Turtles!
As a part of our Jigsaw PHSE this week we explore ‘How do we feel today?’ and matched the faces to the emotions - we even linked it to our story this week ‘The Colour Monster’ 😊
This week we have been looking at the story of ‘The Colour Monster’ and exploring the different feelings that we have! 💛💙💚❤️🖤🩷 We then created our own colour monsters using a collage of colour! 😃
We love STEM Fridays, we have been ambitious capable learners using Microbits to make name badges!
As a part of our STEM Friday we decided to find out how tall we are and prove it using different resources to measure ourselves! We used blocks, insects, bikes, plastic, pens and pencils! Da iawn pawb!
We had lots of fun in Attention Autism today. We had:
1. Bucket
2. Who is this? Where Mrs Collins described the pupil.
3. Clean your face. Mrs Collins covered the photos in shaving cream and pupils had to clean them.
4. Table work where we made Playdoh self portraits.
Da iawn Pawb!
Dosbarth Starfish have been working hard developing their place value knowledge. To put it to the test we made diene monsters and our friends had to identify the value of our monster. As you can tell from our faces we had so much fun! We are ambitious capable learners!
Dosbarth Seahorses have been learning about our family homes this week. Today we searched for our houses using maps and talked about what is special about our homes.
What a creative week we have had in Dolphins this week, look at our models! We made these using only one cup of Lego. #creativecontributors
