Happy Together Learning For Life
Dosbarth Penguins enjoyed Children in Need activities and helped to sort and deliver a load of bricks to their friends.
Dosbarth Seahorses had lots of fun celebrating Children in Need today.
Wow! We have had such a busy week, we explored our local community and found out lots of interesting facts. We even found out that in the past they had a chip van and pop van driving around Pantside. Lucky us we got to try some tasty chips and pop too! #ambitiouscapablelearners
A wonderful STEM Friday baking cakes for Children in Need! Lots of measuring, mixing, baking and decorating! We have some top bakers in Dosbarth Rainbowfish 🧁😋
Our STEM Friday had a Children in Need theme today. We made SPOTactular cookies, went on a spot hunt outside, designed and made a new bandana for Pudsey and used the Bee-Bot to collect cakes in the tuff tray. We’ve had a great day! #ambitiouscapablelearners
Sharks have been busy playing lots of Welsh games to help learn past tense verbs, time connectives and developing our opinions. Our favourite game this week was Gem Envoy! Sharks were able to collaborate with each other to get the task complete: listening, turn taking and being focussed on the task were all skills Sharks identified that helped them to be successful. Da iawn Sharks!
Diolch Macey for reading The Gruffalo to the class. We loved it!
We have been exploring Pantside’s history and we have been very curious to find out as much as we can about it. We went on a walk around Pantside with people who had grown up there to find out about all the changes over the years. We ceased the moment as it was dry and finished with a trip to the park. To our surprise we were visited by the ‘pop van’ that once visited Pantside stopped for a treat. Using our money from the recycled pop bottles we were then visited by the ‘chip van’ too! This week has been great finding out about the history of Pantside. Now we will look to the future to see what we think it will look like in 50byears time!
It's one of our favourite times of year ... its BARVEMBER! Two pupils led the problem solving session today and they did a fantastic job, showing themselves to be capable learners. Da iawn boys!
The children wanted to make a bandana for Pudsey as part of STEM Friday, they measured head circumference, the strength of materials and used technology to design it. #ambitiouslearners
