Dosbarth Starfish visit Santa!!
Mon 04 Dec 2023Dosbarth Starfish had a wonderful time today at Fferm Gelli. All pupils enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate and a special Christmas cake. They were read a story from the elf and had a visit from Santa, where every child told him what they would like for Christmas.
The children also had the opportunity to meet the farm animals and pet them. What a wonderful start to the Christmas celebrations.

Dosbarth Dolphins-Christmas has arrived!
Fri 01 Dec 2023In Dolphins today we explored how different Christmas baubles are constructed and used these ideas to make our own. We used keynote to make persuasive posters and explored the properties of different kinds of materials to see if they were bendy or stretchy. We even learnt how to tie a bow! #ambitious and creative learners.

Dosbarth Turtles- Christmas!
Fri 01 Dec 2023Christmas has arrived in Dosbarth Turtles! Our STEM Friday consisted of assembling and decorating our class Christmas tree, measuring and ordering Christmas trees, designing Christmas trees using creative skills (on paper and using the iPad) and thinking about what Christmas means to them. We also began talking about winter. We are ambitious, creative and capable learners. 🎄

Dosbarth Starfish - Our local visit
Tue 28 Nov 2023This week we were invited to the Tabernacle to learn about the Christmas story and work with our local church community. We loved it! It was a great opportunity for us to have discussions with our elders and ask questions about the Christmas story. We are ethical informed citizens!

Dosbarth Starfish - Staff Wellbeing
Fri 24 Nov 2023After our circle time discussions this week Dosbarth Starfish took it upon themselves to organise and make key rings and thank you cards for our staff. They wanted to put a smile on everyone’s face. How thoughtful! We are healthy confident individuals and ethically informed citizens!

Dosbarth Dolphins-STEM FRIDAY
Fri 24 Nov 2023As part of STEM we investigated what happens when salt is put onto water colours, we found out that the salt absorbed some of the water making a new pattern. We also used keynote to design a brochure for our Christmas play. #ambitiouscapablelearner

Dosbarth Seahorses- STEM Friday
Fri 24 Nov 2023In STEM this week, Dosbarth Seahorses explored circuits. We discussed what positive and negative meant and with support tried to make the light turn on. Great engagement from all. Da iawn pawb!
